Pasta with peas in cream sauce!
Here’s a delicious, easy, and crowd pleasing weeknight meal you can make in a pinch! Pasta with peas in cream sauce!
*Serves 4-5
Ingredients
- 3/4 lb of your favorite pasta
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2tbs of minced garlic
- 1 cup of frozen peas
- 1/2 cup of cream (room temp)
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt & pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a large pot bring water to a boil and cook pasta according to instructions.
- In a large skillet or pan heat 2tbs of EVOO over medium high heat.
- Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is translucent, about 5 min.
- Lower heat to medium, add peas and cream and mix well until sauce is boiling.
- Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and mix well.
- Reduce heat to low and keep warm while pasta is cooking.
- Once pasta is done, drain and then add pasta to sauce and mix well.
- Serve with a little more cheese on top and voila! Enjoy
