Pasta with peas in cream sauce!

Here’s a delicious, easy, and crowd pleasing weeknight meal you can make in a pinch! Pasta with peas in cream sauce!  

*Serves 4-5

Ingredients

  • 3/4 lb of your favorite pasta
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2tbs of minced garlic
  • 1 cup of frozen peas
  • 1/2 cup of cream (room temp)
  • 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. In a large pot bring water to a boil and cook pasta according to instructions.
  2. In a large skillet or pan heat 2tbs of EVOO over medium high heat.
  3. Add onion and garlic and cook until onion is translucent, about 5 min.
  4. Lower heat to medium, add peas and cream and mix well until sauce is boiling.
  5. Add Parmesan cheese, salt, pepper and mix well.
  6. Reduce heat to low and keep warm while pasta is cooking.
  7. Once pasta is done, drain and then add pasta to sauce and mix well.
  8. Serve with a little more cheese on top and voila! Enjoy
